Putnam Baseball Field Rehabilitation Work

The following link includes the plans for the baseball field rehabilitation at Putnam Park. The field is getting repaired and resized for youth baseball play (middle school through JV high school ages).  Repairs include replacing the bleachers, new outfield fencing, new foul ball netting behind home plate, new backstops, returfing the field, replacing the irrigation system in the baseball field, new score board, and replacing the dugouts/bullpens for the players.  No field lighting or public address systems are included in these updates.

The baseball field rehabilitation work is being performed and funded by NorCal Oaks https://www.norcaloaks.org/, a non-profit youth baseball and softball organization under license agreement with the City.  As a separate project, the City is beginning work on the overall park improvement plans, which began with the first public workshop on August 12th at 1 pm.
