Dog Licenses - With Rohnert Park Animal Services and DocuPet

The City of Cotati has partnered with DocuPet and the Rohnert Park Animal Services to enhance your pet licensing experience.

The cost for the dog license is:

$20 for each dog if spayed/neutered
$40 for each dog if not spayed/neutered
Adults 55 and older get one free dog license per household and each additional dog is $6. (To receive the initial senior discount you must call into DocuPet to request the waiver and refund. )

Your pet’s license now includes DocuPet’s free HomeSafe™ 24/7 lost pet service and designer license tags with personalization options. When you register your pet with DocuPet, you will receive a unique license tag to attach to their collar. Our new licensing process with DocuPet allows residents to select a standard license tag at no additional charge or upgrade to one of DocuPet’s colorful designer tag styles for an additional fee.
