Planning Commission
The Planning Commission administers and implements land use policies established pursuant to the Cotati Municipal Code. Each Planning Commissioner is appointed by one Councilmember for a term coinciding with the term of the Councilmember making the appointment.

Cotati Community Redevelopment Successor Agency
The Cotati Community Redevelopment Agency was implemented on December 30, 1986, in accordance with the Community Redevelopment Law, Code section 33000 of the Health and Safety Code, and the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970.

Community-Police Advisory Committee
The purpose and intent of the committee is to serve as an advisory committee for the city council to further community partnerships with the Cotati police department in a constructive way, provide an advisory forum for discussions between community group members and the chief of police, afford a platform for direct community feedback about public safety, and involve citizens in community based safety programs.
